Today went with Nastassya to go watch Disney's Princesses On Ice at Singapore Expo. We met at City Hall first to have dinner together, and from there, we proceed to Expo. On the way, there were lots of parents bringing their kids along. I guess they were heading the same directionwith us. Perhaps it was the March school holidays, there were more kids on the road.
Upon reaching there, little did we realise that Expo Hall 2 was so far away from where the MRT station was. The MRT station was at Hall 6 and we had to walk all the way to Hall 2. Along the way, there was a halal food exhibition at Hall 6 and in there, there were stalls all over the place selling halal food. Then in Hall 5, there was an exhibiton on some bridal fairs, as well as antiques. Hall 4 consists of alot of things, including Pokemon shows for little kids. Along the way, I saw poeple carrying Adidas plastic bags and I guess there was an Adidas warehouse sale in one of the hall. And true enough, Hall 3 was having a big Adidas warehouse sale and there were many people shopping in there.
We then reached Hall 2, where the show was taking place and we went in. When we went in, the seats were not filled up yet. As time passes, seats were slowly taken up even after the show started for a few minutes. First half of the show was about the stories of "Aladdin", "Sleeping Beauty", "The Little Mermaid", "Beauty & the Beast", "Mulan" and "Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs". During the 15 mins intermisson, we wanted to eat the candy floss but after knowing that it costs $15, we were totally full. Even pasar malam do not sell that expensive, only $1 per stick of candy floss. Tsk tsk...this goes to show that people really know how to make business out of little kids, for most products are bought by the parents for their children.
After the intermission, the 2nd half was on "Cinderella". It lasted for 2 hours and the show was terrific, well, at least better than the "Sleeping Beauty On Ice" presented by the Imperial Ice Palace. This show was not boring and there were more commentaries/dialogues.
Anyway, it's time for me to go off and study for exams, while waiting for my hair to dry. If I do not study, I guess there won't be enough time left.
