2006

A new year has been ushered in, and new resolutions should be set and bad memories should be gone with the wind. That is what most people would think of. True, people must always adapt to new changes, to cope with the fast growing times but how many can actually achieve that? No one knows, and perhaps not many.

Anyway, the ushering of year 2006 was a bit boring and lame for me. I actually ushered in the new year on the bus, unlike others who went to countdown party or stay at home with family to usher the new year together. Not for me. Worked till darn late on 31st Dec 2005. Only at 11.30pm, I was then "released" from the shop. Must be asking why shop opened till so late right? Coz even at 10.45pm, there were still customers in the shop. People were actually going to Esplanade to view the fireworks but since it was still early, most of them still shopped around to waste time till 12am. As usual, Fila was the last shop to close at Suntec, people literally flocked in to our shop, even they were just looking around without buying stuff. Damn! Furthermore, kena stuck in traffic jam on the way home. All the way from Suntec to Esplanade, the journey like took 20 mins instead of the usual 5 mins. Traffic jam everywhere. Vehicles jam, human jam. Damn! What's so nice about seeing the fireworks? Can see them every year mah. Why muz go all the way to Esplanade to watch? Becoz of you people, I can't get home fast and rest. You know how dead tired to work full shift on the last day of year and you guys are not buying any stuff but keep trying and trying and wrecking the pile of clothes, that were painstakingly folded by us, the staff? Darn it! What a freaking way to usher in the new year!

Sighz! Anyway, think I won't able to update so often le. Will start to get busy once school starts again. Oh ya, starting to get sick of hearing the Korean language le. Mum has been watching Korean dramas she borrowed from her friends. So these few days, which is her leave, she's watching them literally and practically everyday! 24/7! Don't she get sick of them? Arrgh!!! Going bonkers soon.......
