Soccer, is also known as football. However, there’s also another sports called football, and it’s called American football (a.k.a. rugby). Both have some common traits and I have listed out the similarities and differences between each.
Similarities:
1) Both sports take place on a grass field.
2) Both of the ‘goal post’ have 2 poles and are in white color.
3) Both have violent fights, incurring either minor or major injuries.
4) Players like to ‘throw’ their body on top of each other.
5) Lots of players are required.
Difference:
For rugby, players are well-armoured so they won’t get hurt easily.
Soccer – none. What can the shin guards protect you from?
