Seems that I haven’t been updating regularly. Just completed all the assignments and now left only IC and CP exams. Anyway, it wasn’t an easy path to journey through, even though it is the last semester of my poly life. More boundaries and obstacles were met, and to overcome them proved to be a more difficult task than ever. Unhappiness was created. Misunderstood was resulted. Anger was arisen. Whatever bad emotions present in the world, were generated throughout this whole semester. Team projects are often a disaster, because there would be so many different ideas and opinions arising. To decide on one particular idea would be one hell of a tremendous difficult and tiring task. Although the task may be completed successfully, there’ll bound to be some parts where they are not up to expected standards and blaming arises. Still, one would be glad that the project is finally over.
Though there were bad emotions, I can’t deny that there were good emotions as well – happiness, joy. For instance, the fun we had while taking class photos. Normal graduating class photos were taken more professionally and solemnly, and backgrounds of every graduating class photo would be the same (taken at same place). However, ours were not. First of all, we didn’t take the photos assigned by the school coz’ the price of the photos were damn expensive, and secondly, even if we were willing to pay for it, the funds actually goes to the prom night, which neither of us from the class would be going. Hence in the end, we took the photos ourselves, and we need not stay at one particular place to shoot. We had fun during that time. Though it was short, but I guess it would leave a deep impact on everyone’s mind.
The last and final semester of poly life is ending soon, with one study break week and one more week for exams, and that, we’ll be graduating from Ngee Ann Poly. It seems that stepping into 0331 class on the first day of school was just yesterday. We were strangers then, and now we are soon to be separating. Poly life is something different form what I have experienced in JC. There were no uniforms and hair need not be black and tied up. We could wear slippers, sandals or boots. No more waking up in the wee hours of the morning and squeezed with other JC, secondary, primary school students in the bus. Classes no longer were held in one specific classroom. We could pon-ten whenever we want, as long as attendance is not below 80%. To ensure that, if we did not go for lessons, ask those who were going for lessons helped us to sign attendance. All these were memories and proving our existence in poly life. In 2 weeks, 0331 would be separated. The guys would be going into NS. Some girls would be going to university and some would be going into the work life.
Will we still be able to contact with each other, like the “so-called” promises made in primary and secondary school days e.g. “Must keep in contact hor” or “Friends forever”? Only time will tell…
