Weird dream

Had this dream again last night. This is the second time that I had the same dream. It’s an absurd dream but I don’t know why I dreamt it again.

Me and my other 3 friends were in Serangoon Garden to shop for some stuff. Although the dream told me that it is Serangoon Garden but it does not look like it. There was an overhead bridge in my dream but the actual Serangoon Garden does not have. Anyway, the 4 of us were shopping around and 2 of them claimed that they were hungry and tired. So the 2 of them went to a small cafeteria, which had a glass door (the type that’s pushed open). The small cafeteria was of like country-side design, like small cottage.

Since my other friend and I were not hungry, we continued to shop around. Upon then, we reached a car park. We were standing beside a car when suddenly, out came a lizard, which the size was a bit bigger than the normal. My friend got scared coz the lizard was approaching us, on the car top. It was hissing at us so I immediately grabbed a tree branch and hit the lizard, like playing snooker. The lizard flew off the car top and got squashed by an oncoming car.

When we tried to cross the road, we heard screams. All of a sudden, a big, giant monitor lizard leapt from the ground and on to a car top. It growled ferociously and stared towards our direction. Without hesitation, we ran for our life.

The monitor lizard then leapt onto the overhead bridge and started attacking people with its claws. People’s screams could be heard everywhere. The monitor lizard then started chasing after us. Me and my friend quickly ran towards the cafeteria where my 2 other friends were. Upon reaching the cafeteria, my 2 other friends asked us what happened and soon after that, we heard loud screams, coming from outside the cafeteria. It seems that someone was attacked. The customers in the cafeteria then started 议论纷纷 (I don’t know how to describe in English) and were curious to know what happened outside. As someone tried to open the door, I was wide awake.

I woke up from the dream. Twice, it was the same point that I woke up from the dream. Dreamt the same dream twice. Same place. Same car. Same cafeteria. Same monitor lizard. Is there any meaning to it? Or it’s just my imagination run wild? But if it’s my imagination run wild, how can I dream the same dream twice, with everything’s the same?
